2015–2016 Yellow U23 SMART Approach flight path trial
In May 2018, Airways New Zealand, Auckland Airport and the Board of Airline Representatives New Zealand (BARNZ) published the final report on the Yellow U23 SMART Approach flight path trial, following the publication of a draft report in 2017 and consideration of the feedback received.

2012–2013 SMART Approach flight path trial
In December 2014, Auckland Airport, Airways New Zealand and the Board of Airline Representatives New Zealand (BARNZ) released the final report on the initial SMART Approaches flight path trial which took place in 2012 and 2013. The final report followed public feedback on the draft report, published in May 2014, and further analysis of data from the trial.
