Auckland Airport has announced the appointment of Anna Cassels-Brown as its new general manager of operations.
Adrian Littlewood, Auckland Airport’s chief executive, says, “Anna will be responsible for the operation of New Zealand’s largest airport, and a team who are focused on providing the best possible experience for our airline and individual customers. She will play a lead role in working with our many airport partners, maintaining a significant asset base as well as managing our emergency response capability. As important, however, Anna will lead the operations team in planning for a future where Auckland Airport’s operations are world class in every respect.”
“For the past three years, Anna has been a member of the executive team and has led Auckland Airport’s People and Safety function, which included oversight of the company’s activity as a good employer and neighbour. Prior to joining Auckland Airport Anna made a significant impact on people practices, health and safety, communications and company culture in some of New Zealand's leading organisations including Fonterra, Air New Zealand, Refining NZ and Landcorp. Anna has also held a number of directorships during her career.”
“Anna begins her new role on 1 May 2018 and the company will now start the process to recruit a general manager people and safety.”
Anna says, “I am very much looking forward to this new challenge and to leading the safe and secure operation of the airport on a day-to-day basis.
