The Gold Medal Awards are open to sports groups, schools and Marae in the Auckland region that could do with a helping hand to keep running or to achieve goals.
Groups can apply for funds which can be can be used for purchasing sports equipment, for coaching or training and for help with travel and accommodation costs for sporting events.
Applications close on 4 September at 4pm and successful applicants will be announced on 20 September 2010.
