Price-conscious travellers will be able to stay at the airport’s newest hotel this time next year.
Work on the 2-star Formule 1 Hotel on the corner of Leonard Isitt and John Goulter Drive got underway recently. The 125 room hotel will complement the 4-star Novotel Hotel, which is already under construction next to the international terminal, and provide a quality accommodation for travellers on a budget.
The ground floor is made up of the hotel reception, back of house facilities and food and retail outlets providing quality products and services for hotel users and the ever-growing airport community.
You will see the hotel structure take shape before Christmas with completion mid-July next year and the hotel open for business early August 2011.
