Auckland Airport Community Trust is holding its annual public meeting at Te Manukanuka o Hoturoa Marae, the airport Marae, on 20 October and you’re invited.
The trust has distributed more than $1 million in funding since it was set up in 2003 to help schools and other community affected by airport noise.
This year’s meeting will include presentations by grant recipients as well as a talk about the Marae’s history, so don’t pass up the opportunity to learn more about Maori culture and the trust’s work.
Make sure you’re at the gates by 5.20pm to be welcomed on by Marae administrator Nettie Norman.
