Walkway between integrated and regional terminal

A pedestrian bridge is proposed to link the integrated terminal and the new regional terminal. This will include ground transport to aid transfer passengers and an Individual Carrier System (ICS) for baggage transfer.

Mass transit from the north

Auckland Airport anticipates that mass transit will one day connect the airport to the north, to areas such as Mangere, Onehunga and the city centre. Although the timing and mode of mass transit is undetermined, work is already underway at the airport to safeguard a corridor of land so that space is available when the need arises.
