Laurence Stevens Drive

A multi-million-dollar project on Laurence Stevens Drive will bring improvements to Auckland Airport’s transport links from the south.

The creation of a high-occupancy vehicle lane for shuttles and buses, and additional bus stops, will improve journey-time reliability to the airport precinct and terminals.

The Laurence Stevens Drive project is part of wider network enhancements including the new Airport Park & Ride South facility and the construction of high-occupancy vehicle lanes and walking and cycling facilities along SH20B and Puhinui Road, being delivered by Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency.

When complete, a new 10-12 minute bus service will connect Auckland Airport with an upgraded Puhinui Station Interchange.
