Travel Advisory

Auckland Airport is making a temporary change to the public pick-up and drop-off zone at the international terminal next week form Monday 9 May 2022, which travellers or visitors to the airport need to be aware of.

The middle forecourt lane on Ray Emery Drive, the designated pick-up and drop-off zone outside Auckland Airport’s international terminal, will be closed for two weeks from Monday 9 May through to Sunday 22 May 2022 while infrastructure is upgraded around the terminal forecourt.

An alternative pick-up and drop-off zone will be available within Carpark A, the main airport car park on Ray Emery Drive that’s just a short walk across the road from the international terminal.

Anyone dropping-off or meeting travellers inside Carpark A during this time will receive 15 minutes of free parking.

This temporary change does not affect people getting a ride to or from the airport using commercial transport such as buses, taxis, airport shuttles and rideshare services, which will continue to access the inner lane on Ray Emery Drive beside the terminal forecourt.
